The 27-13 defeat to the Cardinals was not the worst loss of the day for the Seahawks.

Already reeling from injuries on both sides of the ball, including running back Rashaad Penny, the Seahawks lost running backs Chris Carson and C.J. Prosise for the year, leaving them with only one option: rookie Travis Homer.

Homer admittedly played well after coming into the game, rushing for 16 yards on 5 carries, along with a team-high six catches for 26 yards on eight targets.

But the Seahawks need depth, and that’s where Marshawn Lynch would come in.

Lynch, a Seattle icon, played last year in Oakland, to a serviceable 376 yards and three touchdowns in six games. Lynch is reportedly flying to Seattle to discuss a possible reunion with the Seahawks, along with former running back Robert Turbin.
